Sales Representative

Indoneo.com, Yogyakarta internet startup with a fresh new vision for Tour, Travel & Adventure, has openings on Sales Representative position. As a member of our team you will focus on selling tour products, developing new strategies for increasing our reach, and on bringing ideas to grow our sales.


You should be familiar with selling process and have experience with Google Mail, Google Docs and Google Sheets. Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

Your main responsibility will be closing sales with potential customers that are already interested in our products. This includes using booking requests / questions coming from our online channels: email and WhatsApp chat, and from customers calls. You will be expected to meet and exceed sales goals.

The second part of the job will be finding new target markets and penetrating them to drive sales – online and offline. Building a wide network of contacts and maintain positive customer relationships to increase the sales and prolong customer lifetime value will be important part of this task.

You should keep you everyday work well organised by maintaining records on customer sales and producing daily/weekly/monthly reports for management.


  • Previous sales experience is necessary. You should be able to provide a proven track record in the sales environment.
  • Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion, excellent closing skills.
  • Knowledge of advanced selling techniques.
  • Good English skills – you should be able to have a proper conversation with our foreign clients, by phone, chat or email.
  • You should demonstrate excellent product knowledge, so experience in tour travel is a plus – but not necessary if you are a fast learner.

  • A compensation adequate to results: base salary of 4 mln plus commission on sales. There will be a 2 months test period with base salary of 2 mln + commission.
